The Bible forbids coveting money and the things it can buy, but the lottery lures people into believing that if they can just get lucky with their numbers, their problems will disappear. Such hopes are empty (see Ecclesiastes 5:10).<\/p>\n
To determine whether or not a lottery is unbiased, look at the outer digits and count how many times they repeat. Also, pay close attention to the “singletons,” which are spaces where a number appears only once.
